I woke up this morning

knowing I'd find you there,

lost in slumber beside me,

and so I said this prayer.

Dear Lord, I thank You

for the love You've sent my way.

I'll treasure every moment,

as we go about our day.

From the glorious sun at daybreak

to the hues of eventide,

bless this day and bless my love

who lies sleeping at my side.
