Remember the full moon, which was shining clear and bright?

And how I called your name, as I lay in your arms at night?

Remember how you spoke to me, on my lips you placed a finger.

How our bodies touched, our thoughts just seemed to linger?

Come back Running Wolf, please hear my cry.

Donít leave me alone, donít say goodbye.

Remember when you told me, you'd never run away?

Then you said to me ..... "You'll be mine someday".

Remember how we promised, our spirits to be one?

We'd never hurt each other, nor would we ever run.

Come back Running Wolf, please hear my cry.

Donít leave me alone, donít say goodbye.

Remember when we heard, that awful mournful cry?

I said, "What's that"? And you told me, "The wolf is going to die".

Remember when you said he couldn't live without his mate,

And how I lay there crying too, just thinking of his fate?

Come back Running Wolf, please hear my cry.

Donít leave me alone, donít say goodbye.

Maybe tomorrow I will see, the path I am to take,

And this heavy heart of mine, won't feel it's going to break.

Maybe tomorrow, the finish line will finally be in sight

And this dark and dreary tunnel will soon shed some light.

Come back Running Wolf, please hear my cry.

Donít leave me alone, donít say goodbye.
