He Doesn't See

He doesn't see the tears in her eyes
Or the pain that has taken over her heart.
He doesn't see the love she still has
Or that now she has fallen apart.
He doesn't hear her voice in the night
As she still softly calls out his name.
He doesn't know that she still cares
For things are not the same.
The love that was once new
Was a love now that is old.
The feelings that once were shared
Has now grown so very cold.
He doesn't seem to feel the loss
Of her warm and tender touch.
He doesn't really feel at all
And this hurts her very much.
He doesn't miss her kisses
Or all those little sighs.
He doesn't see a thing now
Or the tears that are still in her eyes...
