We shared a love that was beautiful
Like a flower in full bloom..
It has now withered away
and fallen into the depths of
hurt and pain.
My heart will no longer be
able to consume..

This confusion lingers around me
So strongly, I can longer see..
Just feeling all this pain
that you have caused me...

As I turn and look back
Just for a brief moment..
I can feel the strength of you..
I look ahead and see
A sky that is so blue..

I stop myself...
And see the sky is
slowly turning
Gray.
I can feel those memories ... they are haunting me..
I can no longer take it..
I pray this pain will go away..

As I go back and forth
with emotions of anger and pain..
I keep telling myself
this pain will subside one day..

I will not lose my strength
as much as this hurts..
I won't let myself become
weak..
I do refuse to feel this heart of mine hurt.

I will do my best to try and
understand why..
I may never have those answers..
Im just left to know
that you have shown me
I must walk away and go.
