Somewhere in time ....she stood lost and confused
She stood at the shoreline, ...the sun in her eyes..a cool breeze blowing through her hair ....
Ships in the distance...seagulls overhead....the sounds of the beach around her..Everyone should live here..all should experience the smell of the salt in the air...sand beneath their feet..
Somewhere in time she was lost.....a time when life was less complicated, more fun.....summers seemed longer...winters seemed colder....flowers more brighter.......
Somewhere in time she was lost....when love was new...money was tight....music was better...kissing last longer...water was cleaner...
She took her sunglasses from her head..placed them upon her face...took one last look at the vast ocean in front of her....another summer over....another year older...and still...here she stood...lost...somewhere in time........
