"Welcome To My World"

When I got my computer, 
I knew absolutely NOTHING about computers, 
not that I know that much now..lol..anyway,
just coming out of a "broken" marriage, 
my self-esteem was pretty low, 
so I wanted to DO IT BY MYSELF, 
just to prove that I could........
my sister wanted me to get hooked up to Aol IM 
so that we could talk back and forth. 
You have to give a screen name to do that.......
I typed in deepow, and this little sign came 
up and said "deepow" isn't available.....
so I thought of another name, 
and the same thing happened.....
this went on for about 10 different names 
and finally I got real flustered and 
picked up the dictionary and opened it up 
and the first word I saw(?) was "ziplock", 
so I just left off the "ck", 
and Ziplo was born........
a few days later it dawned on me 
that when I typed in deepow, 
what they were telling me is that deepow 
wasn't available to chat because 
I hadn't been registered yet, 
and the same thing with all the other names 
I tried.....I have no idea why they 
finally accepted Ziplo, 
unless they were getting tired 
of me and felt sorry for me....:-))
I was going to change my name, 
but by then I had kinda gotten used to Ziplo...
Now for the really weird part, 
which I just discovered not to long ago...
my friend asked me what the definition 
was for ziplock in the dictionary, 
so I looked it up........
there is no ziplock in the dictionary, 
so I guess I was just meant to be *Ziplo*
.......weird huh?¿?¿?¿?¿

"Who Am I?"

So many people have wanted to know,
why would you ever call yourself Ziplo? 
The story above tells it all,
and since becoming Ziplo,
I am having a ball.

Wonderful new friends I meet every day
Oh how I hope they never go away.

No longer a "hands on" Mother,
but a "hands on" Grandmother I am...
and I take care of "Special Needs" people
the best that I can.

Who am I, and who will I be?
After much soul searching  
I think I will just keep being ME!!
